OXX Blush Review

So Today I am going to review OXX Makeup Blush. OXX Makeup is Kmart's only makeup brand and have a wide variety of beauty products including lip glosses, blushers, foundation sticks, eye crayons and more. I don't know the actual price for these because I got this as a gift from my cousin but as far as what I have searched they are pretty affordable and good quality products and I felt the same way too about them. So now coming to the review

The blush comes in this cute little box and you can see the actual color of the blush through the box.
The packaging of the blusher is quite good.It's cute and sturdy and has a transparent lid  with OXX written on it.On the back side of the blush all the details regarding the ingredients and manufacturing are given.

But I didn't found any shade number on it.The one that I have is like a rose pink color. The blush has a nice texture and isn't that much pigmented. I feels light on the skin and has a little shimmer to it.You can wear this blush for everyday use as it isn't very much pigmented and with light strokes it can be all good for a no makeup look.

My Review :

Good quantity and quality for affordable rates.It gives a radiant and flawless look to the skin.The color stays on for like an hour. Isn't highly pigmented but have that light rosy color that gives a nice glow.Thumbs up from me . Go grab it !!!

Recently I went to the supermarket to pick up some groceries and I was just strolling down the beauty products segment looking for a face scrub.There I found the Himalaya Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub.Well Himalaya is a known herbal brand in India so I thought let's give it a try .

Product Claim

Like most other Himalaya products the packaging is nice and sturdy.The scrub comes in a white colored flip cap tube .The cap is of green color.The tube packaging is handy to use and you can squeeze out the amount of product you need.


Price : Rs 70 for 50 gm and Rs 124 for 100 gm

My Review :

The scrub feels gentle on the skin and have nice consistency. I have been using it for like 2-3 times a week and it did exfoliated my skin greatly. It doesn't leave your face dry or isn't harsh on the skin. Gives a radiant glow to the skin. As far as blackheads are concerned , it could possibly remove the smaller ones but the stubborn ones will not even move an inch. Lol. In all the scrub is good and cheap
and does the job. So thumbs up from my side.

Review Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

Long time no see.Yes true that.So recently I bought Aloe Vera gel tube from Patanjali store. Baba Ramdev brought his products into the market at a very low cost and claiming to be 100% genuine.Well yes off course the products are marked cheap but are they as good as they claim to be . Let's find out.

The gel comes in a transparent tube and you can see the actual quantity of the product which is quite good as compared to its price which by the way is only ₹40 for 60ml and ₹ 80 for 150ml .It has orange colored cap which is also sturdy and ticks when you open or close it.

Coming to the product aloe vera has many medicinal uses as it contains vitamin c,e which gives it nourishing and anti ageing qualities .Aloe vera could be used as a scrub or for hairfall control or weightloss. But I myself find it cumbersome to get aloevera from the plant.So yay for this aloe vera tube.

I have been using this product for quite a while and I guess its fine to review it by now.I use aloevera gel at night before going to bed. I wash my face clean from all dirt and den apply this aloevera gel all over my face especially under my eyes. The gel gets absorbed to the skin quickly and gives a nice glow to the face. Skin feels refreshed ,relaxed and light after applying this. This process gives soft and supple skin in the morning.

Review

The product claims it can remove pigmented spots . I found a slight difference but a complete removal ummmm, I don't think so. Anyhow it's a great product by patanjali so thumbs up from my side.

Review : Santoor Body Lotion with Shea Butter and Sandalwood Extract

Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to review Santoor Body Lotion. So as you all girls know that lotions are a must to sustain these chilly winters as the skin gets dry and looses moisture. To retain the healthy glowing skin you need moisturization.

I have a lot of moisturizers and recently I bought Santoor body lotion with Shea butter and Sandalwood extract. It says that the body lotion is extra moisturising which nourishes skin and replenish the lost moisture along with essential nutrients.

 

The one that I bought comes with a a pump dispenser which is a Yayy because now you don't have to slam it hard to get the product out .There was one other packaging also available which was the regular bottle with top cap .The bottle is of white and purple color and is kinda sleek.

Coming to the product I must say that the lotion is very good in moisturising the skin and is not very runny. It has good consistency and evens out when applied. Also it have very mild fragrance to it which I really like. The shelf life of this lotion is 24 months after packaging.

Price : 190 ( I got it for 50 % off at Rs 95 )

Quantity : 300 ml

Pros :

• Not very heavy on the skin

So guys 300 ml  for 95 Rs is a big thumbs up and overall is a good buy .

How to Lighten Dark lips naturally

So I am back with the first blog for this year. Today I am going to tell you how to lighten dark lips at home naturally,and these are like for those people who have got dark lips from sun tan or using some other products. I am not sure that this will work for people who have dark lips naturally. Anyhow so lets begin :)

• The first step will be to EXFOLIATE . Exfoliation is really necessary because it helps to remove that dry and dead skin over the lips. You can exfoliate your lips by using an extra soft brush or you can also use a baby tooth brush because it's bristles are really soft. So start exfoliating your lips by gently scrubbing the brush over your lips in circular motion. Don't go crazy on them. Just softly and gently exfoliate the lips.

• The next step will be to SCRUB your lips. You can make the scrub at home easily. To make the scrub :- Take a tea spoon of honey and put it in a bowl. Add 3 small teaspoons of sugar or brown sugar to the honey. Stir honey and sugar till you have a nice thick consistency. Now take a lemon and put the lemon juice into the honey and sugar mixture and mix it well. These ingredients work great together as the sugar acts as an exfoliant, the honey is going to give you softer and supple lips and lemon is used as whitening agent. Put the scrub all over your lips and scrub in circular motion for like 5 mints ,that will be enough and be gentle while scrubbing.

• After this the third and last step would be to MOISTURIZE them again. So you can moisturize them using your favorite lip balm or you can apply some vaseline. Well I don't apply vaseline on my lips because they have like not being good to my lips and I got dark lips by using vaseline. So you can use whatever that suits you .You can also apply almond oil over your lips and massage it over the lips to moisturize them . 

Girls try doing this once every week before going to bed and you will see amazing results.
